Taxi Transfers To and From Venice Airport

Two taxi companies, Cooperativa Artigiana Radiotaxi (tel +39 041 5964, www.radiotaxivenezia.com) and Cooperativa Radio Taxi Padova (reservation@airservicepadova.it, www.airservicepadova.it ) offer transfers between city center, suburbia and Marco Polo Venice International Airport.

There is a small office on the ground floor of the terminal, where passengers with a reservation can wait for their Meet & Greet or book a taxi. This office is open from 9.00 am to 8.30 pm from Monday to Friday, and from 9.30 am to 12.00 pm, and 4.30 pm to 8.00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

The taxi rank is just outside the single terminal building.

Cooperativa Artigiana Radiotaxi takes payments in cash and by credit card (American Express, Visa and Mastercard are accepted), and if you are paying in advance online you can also use PayPal to make a payment.

The minimum fare per daytime and during the week is 8.00 euros. Travelling by night and on Public Holidays costs 11.00 euros minimum.

Fixed rates to Maritima Port, the Venice Passenger Cruise Terminal, costs between 45.00 and 48.00 euros, as do most city center locations. Travelling from Venice International Airport to Piazzale Roma in the city center costs around 40.00 euros, and a trip into Mestre city center costs between 35.00 and 40.00 euros. A taxi ride from Maritima Port to Venice Piazzale Roma, where the bus terminal is located, costs around 20.00 euros. Fixed fares include luggage and the fare is displayed on the meter from the beginning.

Fixed fares like this do not apply to telephone bookings, but to online bookings made in advance, except for on the spot bookings made at the taxi ranks at Marghera/Piazza Mercato and Favaro/Piazza Pastrello between 7.00 am and 10.00 pm.

Most taxi companies operating the central Mestre and Venice routes also offer excursions and tours for a fixed fare.
