Train Transfers To and From Venice Airport

Buses connect Venice Airport and Venezia Mestre Railway Station as well as the airport and Venezia Santa Lucia Railway Station.

From Mestre Railway Station Terravision buses also link passengers with Venice Treviso Airport, one-way tickets costing 11.00 euros per person.

Express buses take passengers arriving at Venice Marco Polo Airport to the railway stations. The AVTO Mestre Express, line 15, goes from the airport to Mestre Station, taking ca. 20 to 25 minutes for the distance traveled. The bus stops are right outside the terminal, second lane, facing Arrivals. An ATVO Venezia Mestre Railway Station/Fly Bus Express ticket costs 8.00 euros per person, one way.

ATVO line 5 goes to Venezia Santa Lucia Railway Station, taking ca 35 minutes for the trip. The ATVO Venetia Express goes to Venice's main railway station. The bus stop is a 10 minute walk from the station, along Ponte della Costituzione, at Piazzale Roma, where the bus terminal is located. The ticket price is also 8.00 euros, one way.

A train to Padua (Padova) takes between 26 and 49 minutes from Santa Lucia station. There is roughly one train leaving every 10 minutes for Padua. Ticket prices vary, ranging from 4.35 euros per person/one way to 16.90 euros per person, one way. Trains operating on this route are Frecciarossa (high speed) and Regional trains and ticket prices depend on type of train and Standard or First class options.

Trains from Santa Lucia to Trieste take between 2 and 2.5 hours, with Regional trains leaving at least once an hour. Tickets start from 14.50 euros per person, one way.
