ECOVIA Car Rental at Venice Airport

Nearly all car rental companies at Venice Marco Polo Airport are now located in the P1 parking facility, which is only a short walk from the terminal. Pickup of cars and counters are located on Level 3, where the Ecovia counter is open from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm every day of the week. Ecovia accepts all major credit cards and prepaid cards, as well as cash deposits, debit cards and special client cards issued by Autovia.

You can hire cars like the Volkswagen VW Up! or the Fiat Panda, Lancia Ypsilon, Fiat 500 and Fiat 500L, Renault Clio, Kia Rio and Seat Leon or similar from Ecovia Venice Airport. Extras available online or from the terminal's counter, should you decide later, include GPS, mobile WiFi for up to 5 devices, young driver surcharge, baby and child safety seats and additional drivers.

You can also limit the amount you are liable for in the event of theft or damage to the vehicle by purchasing extra insurance, such as Theft Reduction Waiver.

When you reserve a vehicle from Ecovia at Venice International Airport, you must collect it within 3 hours of the stipulated time you booked during reservation. When the deadline expires, you no longer enjoy guaranteed vehicle choice and may have to take whatever is then available from the depot. If you pick up your vehicle after hours, when the counter is already closed, you may be charged an additional fee. You need to arrange after-hour pickup with staff, when you make a reservation.

Cancellation can be made at any time, but you may have to pay for the entire rental period, if you do not follow the recommended deadline for cancellations. If you do need to change or cancel a booking, you need to contact Ecovia Venice Airport by emailing to reservations@autovia.it to let them know you expect a refund. This must be done within 24 hours of your cancellation and is the route to take for online reservations.
